The cultural dynamic of learning had changed. While audiences still trusted Scholastic for their content, as a nostalgia brand they weren’t seen as a resource for more timely issues – but social media was. Scholastic had all the content parents and teachers need to help their kids navigate the world, they just weren’t where parents were looking.
